Kite Marsh :: “Early Spring Crush”

No action is erased from the earth
but most are written over, covered in the old
bodies of our sweethearts, flooded
when the ice melts, grown again in
a carpet of winter aconite, alive this
warm February day
with hundreds I mean hundreds of bees.
